Keyword Mining Guide
Choosing seed keywords
Seed keywords determine the direction of the expansion. Tips:
- Use short terms of 1–3 words, e.g.
ai writing, chatbot - Match how your target users actually search
- Mine with multiple seeds per topic to cover more long-tail terms
Language settings
Mining currently supports three languages: English (en), Chinese (zh), and Japanese (ja). The language affects the Google Suggest source and result language.
Intent classification
Every keyword is labeled by AI with a search intent:
| Intent | Meaning | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Commercial | Comparing and choosing | best ai writing tool |
| Transactional | Clear buy/signup action | buy, pricing, free trial |
| Informational | Learning and exploring | how to, what is |
| Navigational | Looking for a specific site | brand + login |
Caching
Queries with the same seed keyword and language within 7 days return cached results:
- Cache hits cost only 1 point and make no external calls
- Wait for the cache to expire if you need fresh results
Query size
Each mining query returns up to 200 keywords (seed plus letter-suffix variants, deduplicated).
