Keyword Mining Guide

Choosing seed keywords

Seed keywords determine the direction of the expansion. Tips:

  • Use short terms of 1–3 words, e.g. ai writing, chatbot
  • Match how your target users actually search
  • Mine with multiple seeds per topic to cover more long-tail terms

Language settings

Mining currently supports three languages: English (en), Chinese (zh), and Japanese (ja). The language affects the Google Suggest source and result language.

Intent classification

Every keyword is labeled by AI with a search intent:

IntentMeaningExamples

NavigationalLooking for a specific sitebrand + login

Caching

Queries with the same seed keyword and language within 7 days return cached results:

  • Cache hits cost only 1 point and make no external calls
  • Wait for the cache to expire if you need fresh results

Query size

Each mining query returns up to 200 keywords (seed plus letter-suffix variants, deduplicated).
